With almost half (42%) of local sports clubs unable to source enough volunteers to remain viable^, Cadbury recognises the challenges and need to support local sporting clubs. Through its unwavering commitment and legacy of supporting Australian sport, Cadbury aims to increase volunteer participation across the country.
The Awards recognise individuals who make a positive impact in their sporting community; celebrating volunteers and clubs that best embody the ten sporting values that are featured on the ten limited-edition, specially designed Cadbury Dairy Milk blocks. The sporting values include courage, inspiration, leader, legend, mate, respect, sportsperson, purpose, and team spirit, as well as Cadbury Australia’s ‘Cheer and a Half.’
In a show of appreciation for their exceptional dedication to the nation's sporting community, local clubs will receive a $15,000 grant to support their operation and management. Additionally, the winning volunteer will receive an individual award of $2,500.
Congratulations to the following recipients who represents one or more of our ten values for the Cadbury Volunteer Values Awards:

GIVE A CHEER & A HALF TO OUR LOCAL SPORTING CLUBS & VOLUNTEERS
As part of the Cheer & A Half campaign, Cadbury is inviting you to nominate a volunteer at a local sporting club for the Cadbury Volunteer Values Awards. With almost half (42%) of local sports clubs unable to source enough volunteers to remain viable*, Cadbury is on a mission to increase volunteer numbers and to pay tribute to existing volunteers helping to preserve the future of sport in Australia.
There will be a total of 10 awards inspired by the values featured on the specially designed Cadbury Dairy Milk Cheer & A Half milk chocolate 180g blocks.
Grants will be awarded to the local clubs of which each selected volunteer is a member, with $15,000 going to support the operation and management of the club, and a further $2,500 awarded directly to the volunteer.
We’d love your help by letting us know of volunteers that you believe deserve to be nominated and why.
